Coverking was founded by an Industrial and Electrical Engineer who worked in the Aerospace Defense industry of Southern California in 1986. He brought a revolution in the automotive accessories industries by applying his decades of knowledge and experience in the relatively backward cut-and-sew industry of custom automotive accessories industry.

Advanced CAD/CAM systems designed for the use of the most sophisticated weapon industry was used to produce better fitting custom made Dash Covers. Getting the latest technology to be put to use in this relatively backward industry was perhaps a farfetched idea, but it decreased the production time unimaginably. The Dash Cover market that was satisfied with a production time of 30 days suddenly witnessed the making of better quality products, and that too in just 1 day. Not only did Coverking lower the production time, it also lowered the prices – but the quality of the final product was vastly enhanced.

Later the same technology was used in the production of Custom Floor Mats, Custom Car Covers, Custom Seat Covers and Custom Sunshields. The same quality and efficiency was delivered. In fact Coverking kept increasing its own quality to keep its ever increasing customer base more than satisfied.

Coverking has been expanding ever since, with its main manufacturing unit still being in Southern California. The secret of Coverking’s success is not only the latest technology that the company uses but also its zeal to turn every customer in to a satisfied customer.
